Features and Properties

This honey has a bright amber hue, floral and cooked fruit aroma, and a sweet and slightly acidic flavor.

Being 100% Natural Honey, it is normal for it to crystallize, to make it liquid, again it is only necessary to "melt" it in a bain-marie (boil the container) for a few minutes.

It contains at least 2% coffee pollen and 14% pollen from trees within the coffee plantation ecosystem, so it contains properties such as;

  • Healing properties
  • Improves intestinal health
  • Beneficial for the skin
  • It represents a healthy option for sweetening foods and drinks.
Aldama is part of the Altos region, due to its altitude, temperate climate and level of rainfall, it is a suitable region for the cultivation of coffee, corn, beans, among other crops for local consumption.
This honey comes from the flowering of various crops, mainly from the ecosystem surrounding coffee plantations.
Being a rural area, its population is mainly dedicated to the cultivation, production and sale of various agricultural products, as well as crafts and textiles typical of the region.
By purchasing this product you're helping approximately
15 to 20 families, each producing one ton (approx).
